Los Angeles, 14 November
2008 – In line with the government’s efforts to provide better services to the
retirees, the Government Services Insurance System (GSIS) has announced that,
effective immediately, GV@PS on-line registration process for e-card enrollment,
activation and re-activation through Skype is now operational.
For information on the
on-line registration procedure, pensioners may visit the website of the GSIS (www.gsis.gov.ph)
or the Consulate (www.philippineconsulatela.org).
With Skype, pensioners
will not be required to visit the Consulate and on-line registration could be
done in the comfort of their home.
The pensioners are also informed that the GV@PS Kiosks previously installed at the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles have been pulled out by the GSIS. ###end

If you need to enroll for a GSIS eCard Plus and GSIS Voice Activated Processing System or GVAPS enrollment thru Skype.
If you already have your GSIS eCard Plus and your voice is already registered to the GSIS Voice Activated Processing System or GVAPS but has not activated your eCard Plus.
If you have just received your eCard Plus but has to enroll to the GSIS Voice Activated Processing System or GVAPS to renew your active status as a pensioner.
